Can I volunteer?

The BSRC is always on the lookout for passionate individuals to join us as volunteers. Whether you have a green thumb and would like to contribute to our community garden or you enjoy engaging with clients on a day-to-day basis, we welcome your support. To get started, simply send us your resume and availability. Please note that all volunteers must complete a police check prior to starting. Rest assured that once we receive your information, we will be in touch via call or email to follow up. How can I access the tax clinic?

Looking for assistance with your taxes? Look no further! At BSRC, we offer a tax clinic to help low-income individuals and households. The clinic is open for drop-ins during our business hours, Tuesday to Friday from 10am to 4pm from Februrary through to December. Don’t forget to bring your T slips and any other important information. This service is not limited to seniors, so everyone in need can access it. Let us help you navigate through the tax season stress-free.

If I am outside of these tax income cap, can you still help me?

At BSRC, we understand that everyone’s financial situation is unique. That’s why our tax clinic is here to help low-income individuals and households navigate through tax season stress-free. Even if you find yourself outside of the income tax brackets, we can still assist you. However, please note that a fee may be due for our services if you exceed the income caps. Our goal is to provide support to those who need it most, so let us help you with your taxes and ensure a smooth process for you. Visit us during our business hours, Tuesday to Friday from 10am to 4pm, and don’t forget to bring your T slips and any other important information. We are here to make a difference in your financial journey.

Do You Accept Donations?

At BSRC, we believe in the power of giving back. That’s why we accept donations to support our seniors in need. If you have food donations for the seniors food bank or hygeine products and incontinence products, we are grateful for your contribution. Additionally, we welcome canes, walkers, and foldable wheelchairs. However, we regret that we are unable to accept non-foldable wheelchairs and clothing items due to space limitations. If you’re unsure whether we can accept your donation, please reach out to us at (519) 309-0032. Together, let’s make a difference in the lives of our seniors.
